Impact Godfrey was one of two regular starters who moved to the bench in this game, with Jestin Porter being the other. However, Godfrey let his game do the talking, and he led Clemson in scoring while playing a team-high 29 minutes. Don't be surprised if he returns to the starting lineup against West Virginia on Friday, Nov. 21.

Posts double-double Godfrey racked up 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 83-56 victory over Morehead State.

Impact Godfrey has scored 13 points in each of his last two appearances, but this was the first time he posted a double-double in 2025-26. His versatility is beyond question, as Godfrey has also delivered decent contributions as a passer and on-ball defender. It's still early in the season, but Godfrey seems to be embracing a big workload on both ends of the court for the Tigers.

Returns to Clemson Godfrey will return to Clemson via the transfer portal, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

Impact Godfrey began his career with the Tigers, spending two seasons in Death Valley before transferring to Georgia for his junior year. In 2024-2025 with the Bulldogs, Godfrey averaged 6.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists. He'll have one season of eligibility remaining.

Impact Usually, NCAA juniors enter its transfer portal in an attempt to maximize their senior year's upside. Godfrey is no exception, especially considering that him changing teams already worked once. During 2024, he transferred colleges to Georgia from Clemson.

Impact Godfrey had only scored double-digit points seven previous times this season, but he hit double figures again for the first time since Feb. 8. A perfect 4-for-4 outing from the charity stripe was a big catalyst for that. The forward also collected three boards and one assists, but fouled out for just the second time this season. Regardless, he'll look to help Georgia keep it rolling against Texas on March 1.

Quiet outing in loss Godfrey produced four points (2-5 FG), two rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 69-53 loss to Texas A&M.

Impact Godfrey was rather quiet against the Aggies after three straight double-digit scoring outings. The forward committed more turnovers (five) than points (four) and also picked up three fouls. He should continue to start, but his minutes have fluctuated significantly and outings like Tuesday are a big reason why.

Plays just 15 minutes in start Godfrey closed Tuesday's 71-60 victory over South Carolina with seven points (1-2 FG, 5-6 FT) and two rebounds across 15 minutes.

Impact Godfrey has started all 21 games for Georgia but plays just 20.0 minutes-per-game, and that trend of less playing time continued in the win over South Carolina. The forward should continue to start for Georgia, but don't expect an offensive explosion any time soon.

Impact In his first season as a starter, Godfrey has been a steady if quiet force for Georgia. He's only hit double-digit points once, and his rebounding has been somewhat inconsistent as well. Still, it doesn't appear his role as a starter is in jeopardy anytime soon as Georgia enters the meat of SEC play.

Impact Godfrey technically started for Georgia, but he only played nine minutes in a narrow victory over Grand Canyon. The forward averages 21.0 minutes, so that was a bit of an outlier. Still, he's a limited part of the Bulldogs' offense and that should remain the case moving forward.
