Impact Head coach Brad Brownell said some players are "slowly but surely getting back from some injuries," and Faulkner is among them. Faulkner is projected to start in the Tigers' frontcourt to open the 2026-27 season. The 6-foot-10 big man averaged 17.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game for Samford in the 2025-26 campaign.

Impact Faulkner spent his junior season at Samford after two years at Lipscomb. In 2025-26, he had a breakout year with the Bulldogs, averaging 17.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 blocks. The 6-foot-9 forward will now join the Tigers for his senior season, and should provide immediate reinforcements to the frontcourt.
