Starts in opener Henderson (eligibility) started and had eight points (3-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt), two rebounds and two steals across 25 minutes in Saturday's loss to Syracuse.

Impact Henderson arrived at the Rider program as an undergrad transfer after two seasons at CS-Northridge, which would typically make him subject to a season on the sidelines due to NCAA transfer rules. Not only does he appear to have received an eligibility waiver, but it looks as if he's locked down a starting spot at his new destination. Reserves Allen Powell and Jeremiah Pope may continue to press him for minutes, however.

Scores 23 points in win Griffin posted 23 points (8-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, five assists and two steals across 30 minutes during Saturday's 87-52 win over Rider.

Impact The Illinois transfer started for the second game in a row but, unlike the previous game against Niagara, he made a bigger impact this time around and carried Syracuse offense with his 23-point performance -- this was just the second time in his career he surpassed the 20-point mark. With Buddy Boeheim (not injury related) and Bourama Sidibe (knee) out, expect Griffin to remain in the lineup moving forward.

Goes for 21 points Girard notched 21 points (6-13 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five assists, two rebounds and a block in Saturday's 87-52 win over Rider.

Impact Girard was sloppy and committed five turnovers, and he attempted 12 of his 13 shots from beyond the arc, but he still delivered a strong performance -- especially since he had scored a combined 14 points over his first two appearances of the season. It was a breakout performance for the sophomore, who's already making a living from behind the arc in the Orangemen's offense -- he is shooting 9-for-27 from three-point range (33.3 percent) through his first three games of the season.
