Scores 21 points
Council finished Saturday's 72-71 victory over Kansas with 21 points (5-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 10-11 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one block across 40 minutes.
Impact
Despite scoring inefficiently, Council finished the Razorbacks' latest game with their second-best point tally, only worse than 25 from Davonte Davis. Council's output was instrumental in helping them defeat the reigning champions. Council will look to be a beneficial piece yet again when the Razorbacks compete against Connecticut in the Sweet Sixteen on Thursday.

Moves into starting lineup
Council is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Auburn.
Impact
Arkansas has elected to go with a smaller lineup for their opening game of the SEC Tournament. Council started 25 games this season, but has come off the bench in each of the last five. He is still one of the team's best offensive threats, averaging 16.5 points and 2.4 assists per game this season.

Logs 15 points, seven rebounds
Council logged 15 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds and one assist over 33 minutes during Saturday's 84-65 victory over Florida.
Impact
Council is expected to continue being a substitute now that the Razorbacks have Nick Smith, their top recruit from 2022, available again. Even so, Council's demotion should not prevent him from being a valued fantasy option. The junior's latest log indicates how well a scorer and rebounder he can be, whether he is a supplementary option or a primary one for Arkansas' bench unit.

Coming off bench
Council will play a reserve role in Saturday's contest against Florida, Bob Holt of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports.
Impact
Arkansas continues to play around with its starting lineup as the regular-season winds down, and Council will switch to a reserve role as a result. He will be moving to the bench along with Makhel Mitchell in favor of Jordan Walsh and Nick Smith.

Logs 20 points in win
Council amassed 20 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-10 FT), three rebounds and four assists in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 88-73 victory over Kentucky.
Impact
The junior was excellent in Tuesday's win against Kentucky, scoring 20 points and did so shooting 55.6 percent from the field. Council has scored double-digits in his last five games and is now averaging 17.1 points and 3.2 rebounds this season. Expect Council to continue to dominate as he leads the Razorbacks in points per game.

Returns to starting unit
Council will start Saturday's game against Vanderbilt, Mason Choate of Rivals.com reports.
Impact
Council unexpectedly shifted out of the starting unit for the first time all season against Alabama but will be granted his spot back Saturday over Jordan Walsh, who turned in just two points Wednesday and will move to the bench for the first time since the season opener. Council should take on his usual heavy workload in this one.

Moves to bench
Council isn't in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Alabama, Scottie Bordelon of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports.
Impact
Makhel Mitchell will replace Council in the starting five Wednesday. The junior forward is averaging 35.4 minutes and has started all 15 games for Arkansas this season, so his move to the bench could be an indication of an underlying injury.
