Marlon Ruffin - Scores 11 in Vikings debut Ruffin (face) started Tuesday against Oregon State and finished with 11 points (4-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT), four rebounds and a steal in a 73-64 loss.
Impact Ruffin missed the final seven games of last year after suffering some facial fractures following a scary fall after a layup attempt. The Madison, WI native seems to have immediately slotted into a starting role with his new team after starting in 11 of the 16 games he played in a season ago.

Ahmad Rand - Cleared to play Rand (finger) has been cleared to play in Tuesday's season opener against Portland State, Jesse Sowa of the Corvallis Gazette-Times reports.
Impact Rand had missed the Beavers' exhibition game last week due to the broken finger he suffered. It's unclear when exactly the injury occurred but the Memphis transfer will be available to make his debut Tuesday evening.
