Xavier-DePaul postponed again Scruggs and Xavier won't play DePaul on Thursday after the game was postponed due to COVID-19 considerations within the Musketeers program.
Impact Xavier has now had 11 Big East games postponed, including another matchup with DePaul originally scheduled for Feb. 3. According to Adam Baum of The Cincinnati Enquirer, Xavier is expected to be cleared to resume basketball activities by mid-week, and the team is looking to play a non-conference game this week to account for all the prior postponements. Impact Scruggs and the Musketeers still have a game against Seton Hall on Dec. 30 but will have a week-long hiatus after that as their next game won't be until Jan. 6 versus St. John's. Scruggs leads the team in points (15.8), assists (6.7) and minutes (31.4) per game thus far and will continue to play a crucial role as Xavier heads into the thick of their conference schedule.
