Impact McCaffery logged a 14-game scoring high in the loss to the Bluejays, and he produced his second straight game with double-digit points. The senior forward has chosen the right time to heat up, as the Bulldogs will travel to Providence in the Big East Tournament this Wednesday.

Moving to bench role McCaffery is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Xavier, Caleb Denorme of The Butler Collegian reports.

Impact McCaffery will come off the bench for the first time this season, as Xavier Screen will get the starting nod in the frontcourt instead. McCaffery is averaging 11.0 points per game this season, though it's worth noting he's scored in single digits in his last five outings.

Two steals against Pirates McCaffery closed Wednesday's 84-54 victory over Seton Hall with 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and two steals in 29 minutes.

Impact McCaffery finished out the blowout win over the Pirates with a six-game high of 13 points, but he also came up big on the defensive side of the ball with two steals for the second time this season. The 6-foot-9 senior has now scored double-digit points in his last three games, and he'll have a chance to prove himself again versus Providence this Saturday.

The senior forward also tacked on seven rebounds, putting him at an average of 6.5 rebounds per game in the last four games for the Bulldogs.
