Impact Freeman will undergo surgery on one of his right fingers Monday. This is a costly injury for both team and player. Iowa's team loses its top player, who averaged 16.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in his 19 games started this season. Freeman was building up his stock on to the 2025 NBA Draft, but that stock will definitely plummet at least a little bit with him sitting out the remainder of his 2024-25 season way too early.
