Impresses off bench Platek notched 11 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and three rebounds in 15 minutes off the bench during Monday's 78-51 win over UNLV.
Impact Platek was one of four bench players that logged more than 10 minutes, but he made the most of his opportunity -- he paced all bench players in scoring and was one of four Tar Heels that topped the 10-point plateau. He is yet to start a game this season and all signs point to him having a bench role once again in his senior year, but he could be bound to deliver strong performances from time to time. He is expected to remain on the bench Tuesday at Stanford.

Scores team-high 16 points Davis scored 16 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while adding six rebounds and an assist across 28 minutes during Monday's 78-51 win over UNLV.
Impact Davis has done a good job as a starter in the first two games of the Tar Heels this season, topping the 10-point mark both times while also grabbing a total of 10 rebounds, an impressive tally considering he is just six-feet tall. Davis should remain as a starter in Tuesday's game at Stanford.

Impact Brooks grabbed 11 boards and still made an impact in the season opener despite going 3-for-10 from the field, but he took on a bigger scoring role here and was one of four Tar Heels that topped the 10-point mark. Brooks should be one of UNC's top players this season and has responded to that label with two strong performances to open his senior year.
