Kam Craft - Getting more involved Craft notched 15 points (5-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes during Saturday's 91-75 loss to North Carolina. Impact Kraft's usage has been incredibly volatile since he lost his starting spot in late-December and was even held out entirely in a New Year's Eve loss to Duke. He started and logged 30 minutes Tuesday against Virginia tech, but that was his first start since Dec. 20. He was back to coming off the bench Saturday, but he still played 30 minutes and ended up recording his best scoring total since Nov. 14. It's a bit of a lost season for the Yellow Jackets and third-year coach Damon Stoudamire, who is seemingly throwing a lot of combinations at the wall to see what sticks (though to his credit, he's also had tough injury luck). So while Craft's recent usage is encouraging, there's no guarantee it keeps up in road matchups at Cal (Feb. 4) and Stanford (Feb. 7) this week.
