Efficient in victory
Horchler accumulated 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in 36 minutes during Thursday's 83-75 victory over Georgetown.
Impact
Horchler has shot 58 percent from beyond-the-arc in games he hits two or more three-pointers. The 24-year-old's seven rebounds were entirely defensive and prevent the Hoyas from gaining an edge with second-chance opportunities. The Friars spent five days in a hotel and had two days of practice prior to the game due to COVID-19 related issues. This victory showed veteran leadership that can prevail over odd circumstances, a good sign for the team going forward. Horchler has averaged 8.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists during 33.5 minutes over the four games since the layoff.

The fourth-year forward is one of the most improved players in the entire Big East, increasing his scoring from 6.7 to 10.5 ppg, and his rebounding from 5.7 to 8.3 rpg.
