The outside shooting was a bit of an issue last season for Gurley as well, as his three-point shooting percentage dropped to 33.9 -- nearly seven percentage points lower than his career-best 40.7 rate the season before (though an increased volume undoubtedly played a role). What's important here is that Gurley appears to have earned a starting frontcourt spot alongside Charles Bediako, which typically means counting stats in this offense. However, with plenty of offensive firepower in the backcourt, it's unlikely Gurley matches his 15.4 ppg average from a season ago.
