He consistently penetrated the Iowa defense, getting to his dominant left hand with ease and paving the way for the Badgers' eventual second-half onslaught. His 10 assists were a career high, and he was surgical in creating for both others and himself. With fellow star guard John Blackwell quieter than usual, Boyd picked up the slack and went to work. With the way he impacts the game at all levels, and with the way the Badgers seem to feed off his energy, the point guard is a terrifying player to game-plan against.
