Impact Watts came off the bench for the second-consecutive game to record 12 points despite continuing to struggle from the floor. The junior forward, who also pulled down eight rebounds, started the season strong, shooting 62.5-percent from the floor over his first three games but has not had nearly as much success over the subsequent three-game stretch, connecting on just three of 20 attempts. Despite this recent rough stretch, overall Watts has had a productive start to his time in Lubbock, averaging 10.3 points, 5.8 boards and 2.3 assists across 25.7 minutes while starting three of six contests thus far.

Impact Anderson drained a season-best six triples at a 66.7-percent clip to top the 20 point mark for the second time this season. The sophomore point man added five dimes and three thefts with the assist total marking the sixth time in seven games he's dished out at least five helpers. Anderson has had a huge start to the season as the main facilitator and offensive compliment to JT Toppin, averaging 18.6 points, 7.1 assists, 3.1 boards and 2.3 steals across 37.6 minutes per contest.
