Morez Johnson Jr. - Leading scorer in huge win Johnson ended Tuesday's 75-72 victory over Nebraska with 17 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 12 rebounds and two assists over 29 minutes.
Impact Johnson nearly couldn't miss Tuesday night, and his 17 points led Michigan in a huge win to knock off Nebraska and hand the Huskers their first loss. With 12 rebounds to boot, he notched his fourth double-double of the season and his first since Jan. 14. Johnson has shot the ball extremely well this season, hitting 69.3 percent of his shots from the field. Couple that with an average of 7.2 rebounds, and he's a massive part of the Wolverines' 19-1 start.

Trey McKenney - Leading scorer off bench McKenney finished with 11 points (3-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and one steal over 23 minutes during Tuesday's 75-72 win over Nebraska.
Impact McKenney has been very valuable to Michigan even as a true freshman. He's averaging 10.0 points and 2.7 rebounds off the bench, and he's scored in double digits in three straight games, posting 50/42/91 shooting splits in that span. Of course, that's a small sample size, but the guard has been red hot as of late and is a potent weapon for the Wolverines off the bench.

Nimari Burnett - Inefficient night in win Burnett contributed nine points (4-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal over 21 minutes during Tuesday's 75-72 victory over Nebraska.
Impact Burnett's nine points were about up to par with what the senior guard has provided Michigan all season, but it took him 10 shots to hit that mark. Moreover, he wasn't a factor on the glass or as a passer, with just one board and one assist. Burnett hasn't stuffed the stat sheet for the Wolverines all season; don't expect any massive nights from the guard any time soon.

Jamarques Lawrence - Drops 20 in Ann Arbor Lawrence closed Tuesday's 75-72 loss to Michigan with 20 points (8-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 35 minutes.
Impact Lawrence started the game absolutely red hot, hitting four threes in the first half. Needless to say, he cooled off a bit, and Michigan rallied for the win to hand Nebraska its first loss. Still, it was a memorable game for the point guard, who hit 20 points for the first time since Jan. 10 and just the third time overall this season. The one blemish on his stat-line? Six turnovers, easily his most all season.

Sam Hoiberg - All-around effort in first loss Hoiberg produced 13 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, five assists and four steals in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 75-72 loss to Michigan.
Impact Hoiberg has made a name for himself by being all over the court, yet always in the right place in the right time, and that continued Tuesday night in Ann Arbor. He was a factor on the glass with seven boards, a number he's now hit in three of his last four games (especially impressive considering he's just 6 feet tall, and Michigan has one of the more imposing front courts in the nation). He also dished out five assists, continuing to be solid facilitator. Hoiberg is a role player in the best way possible, but he's now scored double-digit points in five straight games.
