Impact Walker committed to Nebraska in May of 2019 as a transfer from Tennessee. He had to sit out the 2019-20 season due to NCAA transfer rules and then was suspended for the first 14 games of this season after violating NCAA and team rules while he was with the Volunteers. The 6-8 junior is finally eligible to return is in line to make a spot start in place of Yvan Ouedraogo after not playing in an official game in nearly 22 months. Walker averaged under 9 minutes per game in each of his two seasons at Tennessee so it's unclear how much time coach Fred Hoiberg plans on giving him.

Impact It's unclear what exactly is keeping Ouedraogo out however the Huskers did have a player test positive for COVID-19 last week so it's possible his absence is connected to that. The 6-9 sophomore has averaged 5.1 points and 5.5 rebounds in 20.4 minutes per game and is expected to be replaced in the starting lineup by Derrick Walker who is set to return from a suspension.
