16 points in return Stute had 16 points (4-7 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and five rebounds across 19 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 87-59 victory over Alcorn State. Impact Stute didn't turn heads in the opener with just three points in 17 minutes and then proceeded to miss four consecutive games for unspecified reasons. In his first game back, however, the freshman wing scored the second-most points of any Vanderbilt player, trailing only Scotty Pippen (30 points). He seems to be moving up the depth chart at the right time with SEC play on the horizon. The Commodores open things up with a home matchup against Florida on Dec. 30.
