Stuggles off bench Ugusuk contributed four points (2-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one rebound and one steal in 21 minutes during Tuesday's 101-71 loss to Missouri.

Impact Ugusuk hasn't been a huge contributor for South Carolina, averaging just 6.2 points and 1.4 rebounds. Thus, his performance against Missouri was about par for the course. Unfortunately for the Gamecocks, par for the course hasn't been good enough to prevent a dreadful 1-14 start in SEC play.

Limited to two shots in loss Ugusuk racked up two points (1-2 FG) and one rebound over 21 minutes during Tuesday's 71-60 loss to Georgia.

Impact Ugusuk had been plenty aggressive in his previous five consecutive starts, averaging nearly 9 field goals attempted per-game. Against Georgia, though, he shot the ball just twice. It's been a rough couple of games for the sophomore, as the game prior, he went 0-for-6 from the field and finished with 0 points. If he keeps this up, he may not be in the starting five much longer.

Tallies new career high Ugusuk registered 20 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds, two assists and three steals over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 66-63 loss to Vanderbilt.

Impact Ugusuk made his first career start Saturday against Auburn and shot just 3-for-12 from the field, but coach Lamont Paris stuck with him Wednesday, which yielded favorable results despite the narrow road loss. He could be a sneaky addition should this role stick, despite the fact the Gamecocks are off to an 0-4 start in a tough SEC conference.

Gets first career start Ugusuk will start for South Carolina against Auburn on Saturday.

Impact Ugusuk gets the first starting nod of his career in place of Jamarii Thomas, who suffered an injury in the Gamecocks' last game against Alabama and is slated to miss several weeks. Ugusuk has plenty of experience, as he's appeared in 45 games over the past two seasons. He averages 5.7 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists this season.

Season-high 31 minutes Ugusuk ended with eight points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), one rebound and three assists across 31 minutes during Tuesday's 91-88 OT victory over Clemson.

Impact Ugusuk struggled from the field, hitting just 2-of-8 shots, but his 31 minutes were easily the most he's played all season. The guard has been extremely streaky statistics-wise, but the fact of the matter is he's still been very efficient, shooting 44.7 percent from the floor and 50.0 percent from three. That will keep the sophomore getting minutes.

Impact The freshman guard played 12 minutes in Tuesday's win over Notre Dame but struggled to get the ball in the hoop as he went scoreless. If the shooting confidence improves, expect to see more production moving forward for Ugusuk.
