Rihards Vavers - Could miss rest of season Vavers (hand) will "most likely" miss the rest of the season with broken bones on both hands, Greg Woods of The Spokane Spokesman-Review reports.
Impact Vavers has featured in only two games this season, so his absence isn't going to affect many fantasy rosters. While he hasn't been officially ruled out for the rest of the campaign, it'd be surprising if he suits up for the Cougars again in the 2024-25 season.

Impact Another tough blow for the Cougars, as this news comes on the heels of the announcement that leading scorer Cedric Coward will also miss the remainder of the season. Rihards Vavers, meanwhile, also appears likely to miss the remainder of the season. Washington State is simply bombarded with severe injuries at the moment. As for Wilson, he'll now look towards his sophomore year in 2025-2026.

Cedric Coward - Shut down for 2024-2025 Coward (shoulder) won't be available for Washington State for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season, Greg Woods of The Spokane Spokesman-Review reports.
Impact The star guard is officially out for the season after undergoing successful shoulder surgery. Coward averaged 17.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the six games he played in. He'll now look towards the 2025-2026 season, which he should be eligible for with a medical redshirt.
