Pharrel Payne - Sustains injury Payne was helped off the court in the first half of Saturday's 101-83 loss to Michigan after suffering an apparent leg injury, Daniel Hager of On3.com reports.
Impact Payne's right leg seemed to be rolled up on during the contest, and he required assistance to exit the court. The standout forward missed a game earlier in the season with a leg injury as well. He generated seven points (2-3 FG, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and three blocks across 15 minutes before departing. His net chance to play will come Dec. 20 against Virginia.
