Rodney Rice - Stays productive in defeat Rice supplied 20 points (6-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), one rebound, one block and two steals across 39 minutes during Wednesday's 58-55 loss to Michigan State.
Impact Even against arguably the top defense in the Big Ten, Rice was able to log his second consecutive 20-point game. He's been a mark of consistency of late, going exactly 6-for-12 from the floor in three consecutive contests. He's put up double figures in eight straight, averaging 18.8 ppg over that span. Rice won't offer much in terms of peripheral stats, but he's an excellent backcourt complement to Ja'Kobi Gillespie (14.9 ppg) and one of five Terps players currently averaging double figures.

Tre Holloman - Nails buzzer-beater to beat Terps Holloman closed Wednesday's 58-55 victory over Maryland with nine points (3-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 20 minutes.
Impact While the final shooting line wasn't much to write home about, Holloman made the most important bucket of the game, a half-court buzzer-beater as time expired. It was a overall a back-and-forth, defensive-oriented matchup that saw only one Michigan State player in double figures, but the Spartans did just enough to get the road win and hang on to the top spot in the Big Ten. Individually, Holloman was removed from the starting five in mid-February, but he's still putting up a solid 11.4 points and 4.6 assists across five games as a reserve. Next up for MSU is a high-stakes home matchup against Wisconsin on Sunday -- the Badgers are just two games out MSU's top spot in the conference.
