Impact Commander is looking to join what would be his third team in as many seasons, as the guard transferred to Illinois-Chicago from Chattanooga during the summer of 2020. Commander averaged 10.5 points and 2.3 assists across 15 appearances last year.

Granted waiver by NCAA Commander has been given a waiver to play for UIC immediately in 2020-21, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Commander was one of three players who elected to return to his home state of Illinois and join the Flames as a transfer, joining fellow waiver grantees Zion Griffin and Teyvion Kirk. Commander saw significant minutes for Chattanooga last season, averaging north of 29 per game, and figures to be in the mix for playing time immediately in 2020-21 for UIC.
