Impact Buyuktuncel needed eight shots to score eight points, but the forward was active elsewhere on the court for the Cornhuskers. He's currently averaging 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, but he does need to step up his efficiency. After he shot 40 percent from the field last season in Lincoln, it's been more of the same this year through three games.

Sam Hoiberg - Big outing in win Hoiberg provided 18 points (7-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and four steals over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 69-50 victory over Maryland Eastern Shore.
Impact Hoiberg wasn't all that active in Nebraska's first two games, but he changed that in a Tuesday night win over Maryland Eastern Shore. The guard shot a blistering 70 percent from the field and was active everywhere else with seven boards, four steals and four dimes. Hoiberg has been active as a facilitator and on defense so far this season, but these are the kinds of nights he's going to need to have should Nebraska exceed expectations.
