Puts up 12 points in return Freeman (undisclosed) logged 12 points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal over 24 minutes during Thursday's 79-69 loss to Illinois State.

Impact Freeman returned from a one-game absence and posted a solid line. Given that he was a starter earlier in the season, it wouldn't be surprising if he moves to the first unit when Charlotte takes on Richmond on Friday.

Through two games, he has hit six of his first 10 3-pointers and has put up 17 points in both games. While the 6-3 senior won't continue to hit 66.7 percent of his field goals, he should put up big scoring numbers for Charlotte.

Impact Freeman was a JUCO transfer prior to the 2024-25 campaign and only spent one season with Siena, averaging 13.0 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. He should handle a sizable role for UNC-Charlotte as well.
