Impact Bates has seen some up-and-down scoring efforts so far this season, but he locked in against Louisiana. The sophomore guard's 23 points in an eventual blowout win was his second game of the season with 20-plus points and fifth game of the campaign with double-digit points. He'll hopefully be able to tilt his output in favor of performances like these moving forward, starting with a contest at Tulane this upcoming Wednesday.

Impact Evans missed UL-Lafayette's last game on Dec. 6, snapping a streak of six straight games in which he started. He returned to action against the Bulldogs, however, but was limited to just nine minutes and he wasn't included in the starting lineup. He'll look to fully work his way back from his concussion by Dec. 18 against Southern Mississippi.
