Grabs career-high 14 rebounds Figueroa posted 20 points (9-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-0 FT), 14 rebounds and one assist across 31 minutes in Saturday's 74-63 victory over California.

Impact Figueroa scored 15 of his 20 points in the second half, and he took down a career-high 14 rebounds in the win en route to his fourth double-double of the season. He also contributed a season-high five steals. Figueroa has really elevated his play recently - averaging 15.5 points on 58 percent shooting over his last four games.

Impact After struggling from the floor to score just seven points Thursday against Colorado, Figueroa bounced back to tie a team-high with 15 points. He was efficient doing it on just eight shots from the floor. Despite a quiet night on the glass, Figueroa is leading the Ducks with 6.4 rebounds per game. He's also been careful with the basketball with only 0.7 turnovers per game.

Impact It was the second double-double for Figueroa this season, although he continued to struggle with his long-range shooting. A career 36 percent three-point shooter, Figueroa has only connected on 19 percent thus far. He leads Oregon with 7.5 rebounds per game.

Impact Figueroa seemed the likely candidate to join the starting lineup when it was announced N'Faly Dante (torn ACL) will miss the remainder of the season. The Ducks lose some size down low without Dante, but a starting job will likely be Figueroa's, for the most part, moving forward, Through five games, the senior has notched 7.4 points and 7.4 boards for the Ducks.

Impactful in debut Figueroa had six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, four steals and two assists across 26 minutes off the bench in his Oregon debut Friday against Seton Hall.

Impact Figueroa recently received his waiver for immediate eligibility from the NCAA, allowing the St. John's transfer to suit up for the Ducks after only missing one game. The 6-6 senior didn't start, but made a major defensive impact as the leading reserve. While Figueroa plays a similar position to Eric WIlliams Jr. and Eugene Omoruyi, the duo still saw 33 and 35 minutes in the contest, respectively. Instead, the added playing time for Figueroa came in a small-ball lineup at the expense of N'Faly Dante, or with Amauri Hardy on the bench and Chris Duarte sliding over to point. If Dana Altman decides he's comfortable with Duarte running point, the logical switch would be for Figueroa to ultimately enter the starting five in favor of Hardy. In any case, there's enough minutes here for Figueroa to immediately become fantasy relevant. He was the Red Storm's leading scorer at 14.5 ppg, after all. A big game is coming.

Impact Figueroa put up big numbers for St. John's each of the last two seasons, notching 14.5 points, 4.5 boards, 2.1 assists and 1.9 steals per contest while shooting 37 percent from deep last season. He should lay claim to a sizable role right out of the gate, though it wouldn't be surprising if he initially comes off the bench. N'Faly Dante seems the likely candidate to lose some playing due to Figueroa's addition to the rotation.

Status still in limbo Figueroa appears to have yet to receive a waiver from the NCAA for immediate eligibility in 2020-21, as he did not take the court in the season opener against Missouri.

Impact There hadn't been any indication leading up to Wednesday's opener that a waiver was forthcoming, so both Figueroa and teammate Aaron Estrada will continue to wait on the NCAA process. The Ducks could certainly use a third scoring option in Fgueroa, who finished last season as the leading scorer for St. John's at 14.5 ppg. Oregon's wing replacements did fare well in Figueroa's stead, however. Duquesne transfer Eric Williams started and played 36 minutes, tallying 13 points and nine rebounds. Rutgers transfer Eugene Omoruyi was even more stellar, posting a team-high 31 points to go along with 11 rebounds. It still wasn't enough, as Oregon fell by eight points and appears likely to fall from the top-25.

Impact Figueroa is a big-time transfer get for coach Dana Altman. He averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per contest last year at St. John's. The NCAA has been more generous with their transfer waivers due to the current climate, so it would be a surprise if Figueroa was not granted immediate eligibility this season.
