Leaving Utah Lovering has announced his intention to enter the NCAA transfer portal, On3.com reports.
Impact Lovering will depart from Utah after spending the last two seasons with the Utes. The 7-foot-1 senior, who retains one year of collegiate eligibility, averaged 8.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 0.9 blocks across 27 starts this season.

Heading to Utah Lovering announced via his personal Twitter on Saturday that he plans to transfer to Utah.
Impact Lovering entered the transfer portal Tuesday after appearing in 52 games over the first two seasons of his career at Colorado. Over 34 starts in 2022-23, the 7-foot-1 sophomore averaged 4.9 points and 4.7 rebounds while converting 55.4 percent of his 3.6 field-goal attempts per game. After Utes starting center Branden Carlson declared for the 2023 NBA Draft, Lovering should immediately compete for starting minutes with the team this coming season.
