Impact This is a massive blow to temple and the American conference as a whole. Battle was in the mix of a tremendous start to his sophomore season averaging 21.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.0 three-pointers per contest. Tai Strickland and Zach Hicks would be options to get Battle's spot in the starting lineup going forward this season.

Tai Strickland - Won't play Wednesday Strickland is unavailable for Wednesday's game against La Salle due to a minor injury, Sam Cohn of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Impact Strickland has been a regular off the bench for the Owls early in the season, averaging nine points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists over 17.7 minutes per contest. Unfortunately, he will need at least one night off to tend to a minor issue, leaving the bench a little shorter on depth than usual. His next chance to suit up arrives Saturday versus Penn.
