Returns to starting lineup Young (concussion) is in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Iowa, Adam Jardy of The Columbus Dispatch reports.

Impact Young missed the midweek loss to Michigan State because of a concussion but will return to the starting lineup after just a one-game absence. The 6-8 senior averages 8.7 points and 5.7 rebounds in 26.5 minutes per game as he'll face the difficult task of shutting down Luka Garza and helping the Buckeyes end their two-game losing skid.

Warming up early Young (concussion) is on the floor for warmups ahead of Sunday's game against Iowa, Bill Landis of The Athletic reports.

Impact Young missed the game against Michigan State earlier in the week because of a concussion but appears to be testing things out ahead of Sunday's top 10 tilt with Iowa. Head coach Chris Holtmann described Young as a game-time call for the game so a clearer update on his status will likely be provided closer to tip-off at the top of the hour.

Game-time call for Sunday Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann labeled Young (concussion) as a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with Iowa, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Young sat out Thursday's loss to Michigan State with the head injury, but the senior has evidently made some progress through the concussion protocol as Sunday's 4 p.m. ET tipoff approaches. If cleared to play ahead of the contest, Young would likely step back into a starting role in the frontcourt. Over his 23 outings on the season, Young has averaged 8.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 26.5 minutes per game while shooting 55.1 percent from the field and 83.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Impact Young is still in concussion protocol and it's also unclear if he will be ready in time for Sunday's game against Iowa. It will leave a gap in the Ohio State frontcourt in the short term. Young was averaging 8.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game this season.

Scores 18 in win Young recorded 18 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal over 34 minutes in Monday's 73-65 win over Maryland.

Impact Young has been somewhat inconsistent this season, potentially because he's been dealing with a lingering lower leg injury throughout the year that has forced him to miss some practice. However, he's started 19 of the first 20 games this season and has been able to generate some momentum recently, scoring in double figures during three of the last four games. During that time, the senior is averaging 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds over 27.8 minutes per game.

Perfect from floor in win Young tallied 12 points (5-5 FG, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds and one block over 36 minutes in Wednesday's 81-71 win over Northwestern.

Impact Young has been incredibly efficient over the past two contests, shooting 78.6 percent from the floor while posting double-digit scoring totals in each of those contests. He nearly put up his second double-double of the season Wednesday but still finished as one of the Buckeyes' top performers in their win.
