GAME LOG

Eight points as backup Elvis (lower body) finished Saturday's 76-69 loss to George Washington with eight points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt), one rebound and two steals in 13 minutes.
Impact Davis almost scored 10 points despite being used as a backup option Saturday. Fantasy managers should not be surprised if he is part of Dayton's starting lineup again sooner than later. Before sitting out 12 matchups the team played from Nov. 30 to Jan. 17, Davis averaged 10.1 points across his seven games started and logged during November.

DNP vs. Davidson Elvis (lower body) did not play during the Flyers' 68-61 win Tuesday versus Davidson.
Impact Elvis' lower-body injury prevented him from playing 12 games the Flyers have had since Nov. 29. Currently, their next matchup is at George Washington on Saturday. Elvis' availability may be a game-time decision.

Warming up ahead of Davidson Elvis was spotted warming up despite not playing in Friday's loss to VCU, David Jablonski of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Impact The sophomore hasn't played since November due to a lower body injury, but was spotted warming-up in shoot-arounds. His status remains uncertain ahead of Tuesday's matchup against Davidson.

Gearing up for return Elvis was spotted warming up despite not playing in Friday's loss to VCU, David Jablonski of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Impact The sophomore has now missed the last 11 games due to a lower body injury, but was spotted warming-up in shoot-arounds Friday. This is a good sign for Elvis and puts him as a game-time decision ahead of their next game Tuesday, against Davidson.
JANUARY 14, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Out with lower body injury Elvis will be held out of Tuesday's contest with a lower body injury, David Jablonski of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Impact For the 10th straight game, Elvis will be sidelined due to a lower body injury suffered in November. The sophomore was averaging 10.1 points before the injury.

Still yet to resume practicing Elvis (lower body) is progressing but has not yet returned to practice according to coach Anthony Grant, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Elvis and teammate Malachi Smith have both been out since Nov. 25 due to lower body injuries. Both will likely miss at least the next few games. We should get more of an insight on a return once Elvis is able to practice in a full capacity. Elvis was averaging 10.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists before going down.

Back in starting five Elvis is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Alabama State, David Jablonski of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Impact Elvis goes in the starting lineup for the first time in two weeks. Elijah Weaver will head to the bench for this contest.

Not in starting lineup Elvis is not listed in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Austin Peay.
Impact Malachi Smith will get the start over Elvis in this contest. The DePaul transfer had started each of the first three games this season and was averaging 6.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per contest. Elvis should still see some action off the bench.

Continues cold form Elvis recorded five points (2-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds and three assists through 32 minutes in the 57-47 loss to Providence on Saturday.
Impact Elvis continued his underwhelming form in the loss. The guard has only eclipsed double-digits in points twice this season and has not exceeded past five in rebounds or assists. Elvis is not a viable option for the time-being until he can find some sort of form.
FEBRUARY 13, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Leads team in points Elvis posted 12 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3PT, 3-4 FT), one rebound, two assists and one steal in 22 minutes during the 67-53 loss to Butler on Tuesday.
Impact Elvis has yet to start this season and with good reason. The guard managed to barely out produce the rest of his teammates in what was a putrid loss to Butler. He has only posted double-digits in points twice this year out of seven appearances and has yet to record five assists or rebounds. It should be quite concerning to DePaul, if this is the apparent heir to the starting point-guard role.
JANUARY 19, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Leading reserve in debut Elvis had 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), four assists, two rebounds and one steal across 27 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's victory over Western Illinois.
Impact Elvis and forward Keon Edwards are the only scholarship players in this season's class, and it looks like Elvis may be getting groomed as the heir apparent at point guard to senior Charlie Moore. DePaul was missing five key players in the opener, and that may affect the playing time of reserves like Elvis moving forward, but it appears the freshman will be a strong rotation piece as long as the team is short-handed.
