Will be available to transfer
Jenkins will be available from the NCAA's transfer portal, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact
Jenkins barely averaged more than 20.0 minutes across two seasons New Mexico logged from November 2021 to March 2023. However, the aforementioned rate was worse during his second season. The senior averaged 18.5 minutes across it. Thus, Jenkins is expected to enroll in a school whose basketball program has better opportunities available.

Scores seven in start
Jenkins totaled seven points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds and one block across 20 minutes during Monday's 82-75 victory over Oral Roberts.
Impact
Jenkins started in his first game this season, logging seven points and two rebounds across 20 minutes of action. The 6-foot-2 senior, who was filling in for an injured Javonte Johnson, has contributed 8.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and one steal on 19.9 minutes per game this season. If Johnson is unable to suit up on Sunday against San Diego State, Jenkins will likely get the starting nod again.

Warming up Saturday
Jenkins (foot) was spotted warming up before Saturday's game against UNLV, Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal reports.
Impact
Jenkins didn't play Tuesday against Fresno State in what was his first absence of the campaign, but the fact that he was spotted in warm-ups was undoubtedly a step in the right direction. He's averaging 11.0 points per game since the start of December.

Misses out again
Jenkins (ankle) was unable to play Tuesday against New Mexico State.
Impact
Jenkins has now missed a pair of games after exiting just four minutes into the Nov. 25 clash with UAB. The timing of the injury was unfortunate, as the junior guard was coming off of his best two efforts of the season, posting a combined 37 points against Montana State and Western New Mexico. Jenkins' next opportunity to rejoin the action arrives Monday in a rematch versus in-state rival New Mexico State.

Picks up 18 in exhibition
Jenkins (teeth) had 18 points (6-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and three assists across 20 minutes off the bench in Friday's 101-72 exhibition victory over New Mexico High...
Impact
Jenkins may not have started the contest but it didn't stop him from tying the team scoring lead. Although he missed an earlier exhibition after getting his wisdom teeth removed, it looks like the JUCO transfer is now ready to be an immediate contributor for a Lobos squad that loses plenty of guard depth from a season ago.

Sits out of scrimmage
Jenkins did not play in Saturday's scrimmage due to having his wisdom teeth recently taken out, Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal reports.
Impact
Jenkins is expected to mix into the backcourt rotation when healthy. It doesn't appear at this point there is much concern that Jenkins will be out too much longer as his mouth recovers.
