Impact Patton received starts in each of the last two games for the Trojans but played just eight total minutes combined. The sophomore transfer will return to a depth role in the backcourt with Desmond Claude back in the starting five.

Impact Patton was previously listed as a game-time decision after missing each of the team's first two games of the season with a hip injury, but the sophomore guard was able to make his return against UT Arlington. Though he played limited minutes in his season debut, Patton didn't look too hampered by the injury as he provided a highlight one-handed slam in the second half on his way to seven points on the day. His next opportunity to open it up will come when the Trojans face off against Cal on Sunday.

Questionable vs. Texas-Arlington Patton (hip) is listed questionable for Wednesday's game against Texas-Arlington.

Impact Patton has not been able to play during the initial part of the season as he continues to work his way back from a hip injury. The sophomore guard was expected to be available for the matchup against California on Nov, 17.

Impact USC's head coach Eric Musselman said the objective date for Patton being available again is Nov. 17. However, that means he would have to sit out USC's game Wednesday against Texas-Arlington.

Impact The freshman started for the second straight game and didn't disappoint. Patton reached 16 points once again and did so while shooting 33 percent from the three-point line. Expect Patton to remain in the starting lineup for the time being as he has been fantastic in this role.
