Arterio Morris - Nearly leads team to huge upset Morris ended Monday's 95-90 OT loss to Auburn with 20 points (7-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, one block and three steals over 37 minutes.
Impact Morris was spectacular in this game and was a big reason why Bethune-Cookman nearly pulled off a massive upset over Auburn. It's been a tough road for Morris who was one of the highest rated guard recruits in the 2022 cycle. He had a slow start with Texas before transferring to Kansas the following season. Morris would never play a game for the Jayhawks as he dismissed from the team after being arrested on rape charges prior to the 2023-24 season. Those charges were later dropped. Morris took a year off from D-I basketball, but seems to have found a fresh start with Bethune-Cookman. He will be one of the best guards in the Southwestern Conference this season. Morris and his team have another tough test upcoming on Thursday against Miami.
