However, he's clearly an extremely talented point guard that, should he stick around in State College, will be a key building block for the Nittany Lions.

There's been definite growing pains for Mingo, but seeing as he averages 14.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists on 46 percent shooting from the field, his future is immensely bright.

The freshman is excelling at all rates, and doing so with a relatively young Big Ten team makes it all the more impressive.
