AP Top 25: Tennessee is No. 1 after big shakeup; Kansas, Wisconsin tumble
Zeke Mayo - Timid showing vs. Missouri Mayo had four points (2-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one rebound and two assists over 26 minutes during Sunday's 76-67 loss to Missouri.
Impact Mayo took the fewest shots he has all season (six) against the Tigers. The South Dakota State transfer is still producing, but he's shooting the ball at the lowest clip of his career early on here in 2024-2025. With this loss to the Tigers being the exception, however, Mayo has certainly asserted himself, averaging 10.2 shots each game. If that keeps up, the natural scorer should hit his stride soon.

KJ Adams - Continues hot-and-cold start Adams closed with 11 points (3-7 FG, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and one assist over 32 minutes during Sunday's 76-67 loss to Missouri.
Impact Adams logged 11 points in the loss to Missouri, but it was just the fourth time in nine game he's scored in double figures. His taking almost two shots fewer per-game than last season, and it's led to some uneven scoring. Adams has still been a valuable rebounder and shot-blocker, and he's reliable at the line as well. His scoring just hasn't been nearly as consistent.

Josh Gray - Seven points in win Gray recorded seven points (2-2 FG, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds and two assists over 32 minutes during Sunday's 76-67 win over Kansas.
Impact Gray hasn't been much of a scoring threat for the Tigers at just 3.4 points-per-game, and the starting center doesn't play all that many minutes either (16.7). His seven points tied his highest total this season, largely fueled by the big man getting to the rim. Gray has started every game this season because of his rebounding and his rim protection, but don't expect an offensive explosion from him anytime soon.

Tony Perkins - First start since return Perkins amassed eight points (4-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes during Sunday's 76-67 victory over Kansas.
Impact Perkins missed a pair of games in mid-November due to a leg injury but has appeared in Missouri's last four contests, and he drew his first start since Nov. 11 in Sunday's upset victory. He also matched a season-best minutes total, though it didn't result in a big fantasy day, with Tamar Bates (29 points) and Mark Mitchell (17 points) leading the way.

Mark Mitchell - Chips in 17 in upset Mitchell amassed 17 points (4-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-12 FT), four rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's 76-67 victory over Kansas.
Impact Mitchell has had a commendable season so far in his first year with the program, currently averaging a career-best 12.8 ppg despite seeing less minutes than he did last year with Duke. So far, his "dud" fantasy performances have been primarily against inferior competition in lopsided matchups, but nothing could be further from the truth Sunday with respect to Missouri's opponent -- the No. 1-ranked (not for long) Kansas Jayhawks. Mitchell's usage rate was over 32 percent for just the second time all season, with the first being last Tuesday against Cal, when he put up 21 points. Although Missouri runs a deep rotation, look for Mitchell to continue to be featured like this as the level of competition rises.

Tamar Bates - Propels upset with 29 Bates recorded 29 points (9-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 9-9 FT), one rebound, one assist and five steals over 34 minutes during Sunday's 76-67 win over No. 1-ranked Kansas.
Impact Since losing to Memphis in the season opener, Bates and the Tigers have rattled off eight consecutive home victories and should be in contention to be nationally ranked come Monday. Bates was the driving factor here, as the effort boosted his season-long scoring average up to a team-high 14.1 ppg, which is a slight boost from last season despite seeing roughly three less minutes per contest.
