Heavy role off the bench McGee finished Monday's 85-61 victory over Holy Cross with seven points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one steal across 28 minutes. Impact McGee saw 28 minutes of action for Wisconsin as they dispatched Holy Cross in their season opener. The 6-foot senior averaged just 2.1 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.5 steals on 8.3 minutes per game last season (25 games), but he will look to be a more critical piece of the Badgers' rotation this season. McGee is likely to cede minutes to Daniel Freitag as the season progresses, but with Camren Hunter (undisclosed) sidelined, he was the most utilized bench option for Wisconsin on Monday.
