Impact This isn't all that surprising, as Jones is a projected first-round pick in the draft. The sophomore center showed major signs of improvement from his freshman campaign and averaged career highs in just about ever major statistical category with the Longhorns in 2020-21. Jones also stated that he has signed with an agent, thus dismissing the idea that he can test the NBA waters but ultimately come back to Texas next season.

Impact With a deep frontcourt featuring plenty of NBA talent, Jones only made two starts in 23 appearances this season, serving as the primary backup at both frontcourt positions. The sophomore took averages of 3.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 2019-20 and brought them up to 8.5 points and 4.8 rebounds this season. He has the raw skills and physical build to potentially sneak into the first round of the NBA Draft, provided he doesn't remain with the Longhorns another year.
