Impact Gary will require surgery to repair his injured shoulder that he sustained earlier this month. The junior forward will finish the season averaging 9.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game in 17 starts and appearances for the Huskers. Gary led the team in rebounds, steals and blocks this season, a major loss for the Huskers.

Impact Gary was dealing with a shoulder injury following last week's win over Omaha, but he'll be able to play through the issue while maintaining his starting role Thursday. Over the first two matchups of the year, he's averaged 7.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in 23.0 minutes per game.

Whether he ends up in the starting five or not, it appears he's found it.
