Excellent in victory Lewis supplied 18 points (7-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, three assists and three steals over 34 minutes during Saturday's 73-72 victory over Seton Hall.

Impact Lewis drilled both of his three-pointers in the opening seven minutes of play and that set the tone for Marquette's win. The Golden Eagles were outrebounded, recorded the same number of shot makes from the floor and did not have as many free-throw opportunities as Seton Hall. However, Marquette shot 50 percent from three-point range as a team and the Pirates shot just 28.6 percent. Lewis laid out the playbook for success early, and it allowed Marquette to earn the photo-finish win. The freshman has averaged 14.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks during 30.6 minutes of play over the last five games. Since the layoff, he has shot 9 for 10 from the free-throw line and 31.6 percent from three-point range. The forward will look to continue showing how limitless he is against Villanova on Wednesday.

Impact Lewis was brilliant on defense recording 10 defensive rebounds, and his ability to finish in the paint was on full display when he cooked defenders on three monster dunks. He has certainly gained a step from last season where he averaged 7.8 points and 5.4 rebounds. He hasn't recorded this many 3-point attempts since January last season, hinting at a larger role on offense for the redshirt freshman.

He has yet to start a match this season, but if he continues to play like this, there is no reason for him to not see the starting rotation.
