Efficient in victory Bernard posted 18 points (6-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 34 minutes during Saturday's 73-51 victory over UNLV.

Impact Bernard led the way for the Bruins in the comfortable win, posting a team-high 18 points on the strength of three makes from deep. He's off to a great start to the season, averaging 14.6 ppg and is shooting 41 percent from three since the start of last season. Bernard has seen a bigger role in the offense as opposing defenses have been focusing on slowing down Johnny Juzang and Jaime Jaquez.
