Not expected Wednesday James (wrist) isn't going through pregame warmups and isn't expected to play in Wednesday's game against South Carolina, Mike Wilson of the Knoxville News Sentinelreports.

Impact Per Wilson, James continues to sport a brace on his left wrist that he was seen wearing following a game against LSU on Saturday. James played through the injury, supplying nine points and six boards across 32 minutes against LSU, but he won't play through it again. Look for Yves Pons and Keon Johnson to see a bit more time with James out. James' next chance to suit up is in Saturday's game against Kentucky.

Impact James had to exit a matchup against USC Upstate a week ago due to an apparent knee injury, but was back in the starting five to chip in multi-category production. While his shot volume was the lowest of any game this season, they key here is that the sophomore looks healthy heady into SEC play.
