Will redshirt 2025-26 season North Carolina State's head coach Will Wade announced that Deng (undisclosed) will redshirt his 2025-26 season, Tucker Sennett of SI.com reports.

Impact "He (Deng) has got some off-the-court stuff going. He has got some medical stuff going on," Wade announced. "We met with him (Deng) and his camp and we all felt like that would be the best course of action for him right now. For his 2025-26 season, Deng's eight games include 6.1 points and 2.1 rebounds averaged.
