Impact The center finished with a terrific outing for the Razorbacks despite the defeat Saturday, as Williams posted his second straight double-double while tallying 20 points for the first time all season. The sophomore is currently averaging 10.0 points and 9.2 rebounds across 25 outings with Arkansas this year.

Impact Williams almost finished with a double-double during Saturday's win, as the sophomore grabbed at least eight rebounds for a 10th straight performance. In 23 appearances with Arkansas this year, Williams is averaging 9.4 points and a team-best 9.1 rebounds per matchup.

Impact The center logged his second straight double-double, as the sophomore once again led the Razorbacks on the glass while posting double figures offensively for a fourth time this year. Williams is currently posting 7.4 points and 8.6 rebounds in 16 games played.

Plays through injury Williams chipped in 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, three blocks and one steal over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 93-80 win over UNI.
Impact Williams gave Arkansas fans a scare after landing awkwardly on a shooter's foot and leaving the game afterwards, according to Rivals, but he was fortunately able to return to the contest. He had also apparently dealt with a back injury late in the offseason, but is playing through any discomfort for now. His presence was pivotal in this contest, as the late return helped the Razorbacks pull away, and he came up with a huge block on the defensive end late in the contest. At 6-10, Williams is also a surprisingly capable ball handler and has already produced 17 assists through three game. That type of assist production from a big man, if sustained, could make him an incredibly coveted fantasy commodity, even in nationwide formats.

Impact It's unclear what's currently affecting Williams or why he was held out of Arkansas' latest exhibition, but it doesn't seem like it's a long-term concern. The 6-10 center started five games for the Razorbacks last season, including the last three of the year. His season high in scoring (13) came in SEC play in a matchup against Alabama on Feb. 24, while he hit exactly 10 rebounds on four separate occasions.

Impact Williams did not play in the team's exhibition game against North Texas. There is still no word as to what type of injury Williams is dealing with. The 6-10 big man is a strong piece in the middle of the lineup that Arkansas will likely struggle on the interior without.

The absence of Williams forced Arkansas to go with a much smaller lineup, and the Razorbacks were out-rebounded 42 to 28 as a result. It's unclear if this is a matter of rest leading up to the Nov. 9 opener, or if something else is potentially in play.
