Highly efficient evening vs. Gators Carey had 15 points (7-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 22 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 86-75 loss to Florida.

Impact Carey shot 7-of-9 from the field and pulled down five boards, but the Commodores still lost comfortably against a deep and talented Florida team. Carey remains instrumental for Vanderbilt off the bench, however, and he's played well as of late; since the new calendar year, he's shooting an even 50 percent from the field.

Impact Carey's double-double against Tennessee was not only crucial in the upset win over the Volunteers, it was his first double-double since the season opener. He's been a critical part of the Commodores' upstart season, even off the bench. Averaging 7.4 points and 5.7 rebounds, he'll continue to see plenty of minutes.
