Impact Butz finally stepped on the court for the first time since Jan. 27, but his impact was limited once again. He hasn't started a game since Nov. 19 and has played more than 15 minutes just once since that date, so he's not going to have a lot of upside even if he's healthy down the stretch.

Impact Butz was a big part of the Hilltoppers' dominating victory against an overmatched opponent, compiling his season-high scoring mark thanks to some solid work in the post. He did attempt his second three-point shot of the season Tuesday but has still yet to make one in his college career. He's also a liability at the free-throw line, making just 42.9 percent of his attempts on the young season.

Impact Butz played only 11 minutes against Memphis because of the soreness and will sit out a game the Hilltoppers should be able to handle without him for extra rest. His next opportunity to don the uniform arrives Saturday against Tennessee-Martin.

Impact It was reported in mid-November that Butz would miss the start of the season, but details were sparse at the time.
