Out Thursday versus Penn State Kohler (foot) is out for Thursday's game versus Penn State, Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Impact Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo said on the pregame radio show that Kohler would remain out Thursday and that he hopes to get him back on the court next week. Kohler could be out for longer than that though, as Izzo added that it will take an additional unknown amount of time to reintegrate him into the team. Given this information it seems unlikely Kohler will suit up Sunday at Northwestern, and there's a chance he could be back for next Thursday's contest at Illinois.

Impact Now, Michigan State's team is expected to be without Kohler for November and some of December. Fortunately for the Spartans, they still have experienced options to easily fill in for them in the post.
