Commits to North Carolina
Stevenson has committed to North Carolina, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.
Impact
Stevenson is a North Carolinian, and his mother is a UNC legend, so the Tar Heels again reaching out to him made it easier for him to pick them. While part of Alabama's 2024-25 team, he logged 5.4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 37 games (22 starts).

Re-enters game
Steveson (wrist) checked back into Friday's game against Robert Morris with five minutes left in the first half, Nick Kelly of AL.com reports.
Impact
Stevenson, who came down hard on his wrist on a layup attempted, returned from the locker room and has re-entered the contest. The 6-foot-11 sophomore has his left wrist heavily taped up per Jack Knowlton of Rivals.com.

Heads to locker room with wrist injury
Stevenson (wrist) exited Friday's game against Robert Morris with an apparent wrist injury, Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
Stevenson sustained a wrist injury with just over eight minutes remaining in the first half of Friday's matchup with Robert Morris. The 6-foot-11 sophomore, who came down hard on his left wrist on a layup attempt per Tony Tsoukalas of Rivals.com, is questionable to return to the contest after heading to the locker room. Alabama would be extremely short-handed in the frontcourt if Stevenson is unable to return with Grant Nelson (knee) active but held out of the starting lineup.

Starting against Robert Morris
Stevenson is listed amongst Alabama's starting five ahead of Friday's game against Robert Morris, Charlie Potter of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact
Stevenson will start in place of Grant Nelson, who will come off the bench for the Crimson Tide during Friday's game against Robert Morris in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The 6-foot-11 sophomore has appeared in all 33 games this season (21 starts), averaging 5.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 blocks while shooting 32.6 percent from three (2.9 attempts per game).

Leads bench scorers with 16
Stevenson chipped in 16 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, one block and three steals across 19 minutes during Friday's 99-70 victory over Kentucky.
Impact
Alabama's bench scored a whopping 44 points in a blowout win over Kentucky, and Stevenson led all Crimson Tide bench players with 16 on 63 percent shooting, including three triples. It was the kind of game where everything went right for Alabama, and while things will get tougher in the NCAA Tournament, Stevenson's 16-point outing -- his second highest scoring performance of the year -- could have him slated for a key bench role as the Crimson Tide chase a national championship.

Not starting vs. Missouri
Stevenson is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Missouri, Nick Kelly of AL.com reports.
Impact
The Crimson Tide are tweaking their starting lineup for this contest, and adding Labaron Philon into the mix will give the team two creators on offense. Stevenson could see decent minutes off the bench, though.

Explodes for 22 points
Stevenson finished Tuesday's 103-80 win over Texas with 22 points (7-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and one block across 20 minutes.
Impact
Stevenson dropped 22 points out of nowhere; his previous highest-scoring outing this season was 11 points against Oregon back in November. He practically couldn't miss from the field (7-of-8) and also drained four triples. If the 6-foot-11 forward can shoot the ball from the perimeter with that kind of deadly efficiency, one of the best offenses in the nation could get even more dangerous. That's a scary thought.

Jarin Stevenson scored 22 points and No. 2 Alabama used a hot-shooting first half and a barrage of 3-pointers to cruise to a 103-80 win over Texas

Brutal outing in win
Stevenson notched zero points (0-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over 11 minutes during Wednesday's 88-84 victory over Mississippi State.
Impact
Stevenson struggled mightily in Alabama's win over Mississippi State. Despite starting, he played just 11 minutes, partially because he started 0-for-5 from the field, including three missed three-pointers. Stevenson has had some quiet, non-consequential nights this season, especially in SEC play.

ROTOWIRE
Struggling with efficiency
Stevenson contributed nine points (3-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and two blocks over 25 minutes during Tuesday's 74-64 loss to Ole Miss.
Impact
Since becoming a full-time starter on Dec. 4 against North Carolina, Stevenson has struggled with his shooting efficiency - the sophomore is shooting just 31.7 percent from the field. Given his height at 6-foot-11 and propensity to play around the rim, there's no excuse for those kinds of numbers. The forward matched his season high with seven rebounds in the loss to Ole Miss, but the Crimson Tide need more from their starting big man.
