Jones (shoulder) is warming up ahead of Providence's tilt with Villanova, per Bill Koch of The Providence Journal.
Impact
Jones was listed as questionable on the Big East injury report, but he's reportedly warming up with a jersey under his sweats. Puts up 18 points in return
Jones (undisclosed) posted 18 points (6-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-6 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 103-98 OT loss to UConn.
Impact
Jones not only returned to the starting lineup in this contest, but he also ended as the team's second-best scorer behind Ryan Mela, who led the way for Providence with 19 points. Jones has started in just three of his 15 appearances this season, but since those three starts have come in Providence's last three contests, he might remain in that role.

Scores 16 in debut
Jones totaled 16 points (7-7 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 20 minutes during Monday's 89-79 win over Holy Cross.
Impact
Jones made his collegiate debut Monday and it went extremely well. He played 20 minutes off the bench and was second on the team in scoring with 16 points. He made all seven of his field goal attempts and both of his free throws. He also grabbed five rebounds and recorded one steal, giving him an excellent performance to begin his college career. It appears the true freshman will be involved in the Friars' rotation this season, although it's unclear how Rich Barron (concussion) will impact Jones' minutes once he returns to the lineup.
