Impact Bouknight essentially was the entire team in the loss Sunday. The guard led the Huskies in points by a landslide with the next highest point total being 12 points by fellow teammate R.J. Cole. Bouknight did not add many rebounds or assists, but he clearly made up for it in points. He has not shied away from shooting so far this season and it clearly shows with the guard averaging 18.5 points per game prior to this matchup. It is very clear that UConn can compete with the higher ranked teams in the conference, but they will need more than just Bouknight stepping up to the plate.
