Impact Washington spent the 2024-25 season with UNC, and he posted solid numbers as a junior while being a regular member of the Tar Heels' rotation. Washington averaged 5.7 points and 4.2 rebounds across 15.9 minutes per game in 2024-25 while starting in 16 of his 36 appearances. It wouldn't be surprising if he's a regular starter for Vanderbilt.

Impact Washington was held out of a Jan. 28 loss to Pittsburgh due to a knee injury, but he had already seemingly conceded his starting spot to Ven-Allen Lubin prior to that. While Washington was available Saturday, it was still Lubin who got the start at center. As a reserve, Washington still posted close to his season average in minutes, but inconsistency continues to be an issue for the 6-10 junior. It's not the only culprit, but North Carolina's lack of depth at center has certainly played a role in the Tar Heels losing four of five ACC matchups. UNC did manage to out-rebound Duke on Saturday, but this game was essentially over by the middle of the second half.
